After installation, you’ll receive a full demonstration so you feel confident using your stairlift. When a professional installs a stairlift of your choice, it is a relatively quick procedure that should only take around four hours. This would include teaching the user how to properly use, clean and maintain the equipment.
The first step in the process is an initial free home visit so that an expert can assess your specific needs and, of course, your staircase. The second step is choosing the right model for you, including any customisations you wish. Once you’re happy, we’ll order your stairlift and arrange for installation and testing. It’s a common misconception that stairlifts are installed on a wall. This is not the case. The stairlift is installed on the staircase itself. The technical surveyor will recommend which side of the stairs will be the most convenient for the stairlift to be installed during the home visit.
Stairlift prices can vary depending on your staircase dimensions, chosen model, and any additional extras. You can also purchase reconditioned stairlifts, which are models where the motor has been fully refurbished.
